So Ready To Saddle Up For Fall
As per usual Senegence is completely on trend with their latest release, the new limited edition LipSense® Cowgirl Collection and I am so excited about it. It is the perfect palette for this fall’s western trend, with the colors immediately making me think of a gorgeous sunset in a Southwestern desert. From high end designers like Louis Vuitton, Isabel Marant, and Chloe to the brands I can actually afford to wear and fit into like my holy trinity Old Navy (hello plaid button downs and skinny jeans), Target (they always have a great selection of boots in the Fall), and Loft (my go to for a feminine twist on todays trends) everyone is saddling up for a trip West this Fall.
Every season the amazing people at the Pantone Color Institute reviews the color trends in the collections from major fashion designers at New York’s Fashion Week shows. They take this information and create the Pantone Fashion Color Report which features the Top 10 colors in fashion for the upcoming season. As you can see Giddy Up LipSense hits those purple hues perfectly, Glam Doll is a perfect dupe for the deep brownish/red trend, and Brick is a great way to keep with the darker colors of fall but still have a bright pop of red.
The first color I’ll talk about is Brick. It’s a yellow-based, rich red color with a matte finish. This is a color that was discontinued last year when Senegence was growing so fast they couldn’t keep up with the demand for LipSense. Slowly but surely they have been bringing back some of the most popular colors and this one is so great for Fall. I think it will be perfect orangey-red for Fall to transition from day to night.
Next up is Glam Doll. Another re-release, Glam Doll was released last year and was wildly popular. It is a super deep, earthy red-brown tone with a matte finish. Brown toned colors tend to turn extra brown on me so this was not one of my go-to colors, but it definitely had it’s perfect place in a few nighttime looks I did.
Finally we have Giddy Up. This taupe-mauve color with a matte finish is definitely not in my normal wheelhouse but I am DYING to try it and I just can’t figure out why. I wasn’t planning on ordering it, but I slept on it and decided I couldn’t resist. And it had already gone out of stock individually so I was lucky to snag a few collections in order to get my hands on it. I think it may end up looking a little to grey-ish on its own BUT I think the layering possibilities with color are going to be unbelievable. That’s actually one of my favorite things about LipSense, needing to apply 3 layers of color means you can apply so many different colors in different combinations and the outcomes are endless!
Make sure you check out my Instagram for pics of ME wearing the new colors once I receive them, I can’t wait to hear what y’all think!
